Switching apps
Bring your streaks with you
Diplina imports history from other habit apps by CSV, and the import is free.
The two CSV shapes Diplina reads
One row per check-off — a habit, a date and an optional count. This is the shape of Diplina's own export and of most spreadsheets:
habit,date,count Morning run,2026-09-01,1 Drink water,2026-09-01,6 Morning run,2026-09-03,1
One row per day, one column per habit — a table where a cell marks the day as done:
Date,Morning run,Meditate 2026-09-03,2,0 2026-09-02,2,2
Commas, semicolons and tabs all work, and so do ISO and German dates. Rows Diplina can't place for sure — an ambiguous date like 10/6/2026, a future day, a row without a habit name — are skipped and counted, so you see what was left out.
Step by step
- Export your history as CSV in the app you're leaving.
- In Diplina, open Settings → Your data → Import from another app.
- Pick the file. Diplina shows what it imported and what it skipped.
Nothing is replaced
Names match the habits you already have, ignoring case. New names become new daily habits, starting on their first day. Where you already have a check-off, yours wins. If the import brings more habits than the free version's 6, the extra ones arrive archived — kept and visible, just not counted.
Getting data out again
Your own JSON backup is always free. CSV export for spreadsheets is part of Pro.
Questions
Is importing free?
Yes.
Will it overwrite anything?
